||Jungle Level 1
There are no Electoon cages on this level.
- Collect as many blue tings as you can.
100 tings gains you a free life.
- Avoid falling into the water or you will lose a
- Just after the red flower that bends, climb the vine
and travel left by carefully jumping from vine to vine. You will find a free life on
the grassy upper platform.
Jungle Level 2
There are 3 Electoon cages on this
level. These cages can not be reached until you get the power to hang, which you receive
in Jungle Level 8. The third cage also requires the power to grapple, which you receive in
Jungle Level 17. Once you get these powers, you will be able to go back for these cages.
There is a magician on this level.
- At the entrance, jump on the red flower and then
jump to the right to reach the vine. Climb the vine and jump to the vine to your
left to get all of the blue tings.
- Return to the vine on the right and climb up to the
grassy platform with the magician.
To visit the magicians secret bonus
level, you must collect 10 blue tings and pay him. One little trick you can try, if you
dont make it through the entire bonus level in time, is to collect tings while in
the secret level (all you need is 10) and then reenter the level once time expires. The
bonus levels are important because you earn valuable free lives by completing them.
your first time through this level, you will see explorers and cages at the top of the
screen. They cannot be accessed until you get the power to hang and punch.
- The photographer is a friend. If you lose a life, you will
start again at the last place where he took a picture of you. Make sure he snaps your
- (1) For the first cage
on the level, climb to the top of the first vine after the photographer and look to the
left. You can also get to this cage by traveling along the upper grassy platforms.
- (2) In the group of
vines with the flying fish, knock the purple grape off of the third vine. Drop straight
down to land on top of the grape.
Once the grape is in the water, you steer it by facing left or right.
Steer the grape to the right for the second cage.
- (3) After you receive
the power to grapple from Betilla the Fairy, you can get the last cage on this level. At
the entrance, climb the vine to reach the magician's platform. Go to the right side of the
platform, grab the flying ring, swing and land on top of the tree with the
tings. The cage will appear below the tree. You may find it easier to grab the flying
ring if you wait until after you have received the power to helicopter (Music Level 11).
Jungle Level 3
There are no Electoon cages on this
- Betilla the Fairy will give you the power to throw
your fist and punch.
- Press ALT to send off the fist. The longer you keep
the button pressed, the further the fist will go.
- Go to the far right side of the screen, jump and
punch down the purple grape, jump on top of the grape, then while it is bouncing, jump
onto the platform to exit the level.
Jungle Level 4
There are 3 Electoon cages on this
level. There is a magician on this level.
- Near the entrance, knock down the first purple grape
that you see
hanging on a vine and let it bounce down the hill towards the left. Jump on top of the bouncing
grape and then jump up to the hand on the left. There is a free life on the
grassy platform on the right.
- One way to move a grape is to jump on top of it,
face in the opposite direction you want to move, throw your fist, and then duck. When your fist returns,
it will hit the grape first, propelling it forward.
- To get golden glove that is suspended above water,
find the nearest purple grape, knock it down and punch it with your fist into the water.
Once the grape is in the water, you can jump on it and steer it by facing left or right.
- (1) After using the
second grape to get the golden glove suspended above the water, return to the area near the entrance to the level.
The grape will pop back onto its vine, and you can use it again. Punch the second grape so
that it falls on top of the head of the large explorer on the island to the right.
This may take some practice. If you mistime the punch or don't punch hard enough, the
grape will land in the water. Jump on top of the grape that should now be stuck on top of
the head of the explorer. Get the glove above, and the cage appears to the right.
- The small explorers can be annoying.
They duck when you try to punch them and then throw their hands to try to grab you.
A useful trick is to hold the punch button down and throw a long punch that will go past the
explorer. Duck as your fist comes back towards you and the trajectory of the fist will
lower as well, often punching a ducking explorer.
- (2) The second cage is
on the platform in the middle of the vines with the flying fish.
- On this level, you also meet a hunter. Hunters can be very
annoying because not only do they shoot bullets at you, but their guns can also be used as
shields to block your punches. One way to get past the hunter is to jump and punch
while you are in the air. Try to time the punches so that they hit the hunter in the head,
avoiding his gun.
- In the middle of this level, you will see a grape
hanging at the top of the screen (just past the place where the explorers suddenly appear
on the screen). If you jump up and knock this grape down to your left, then ride it to the
right side of the screen and into the water, you will find a free life and a full
- Before exiting, knock down the grape near the exit
and ride it right to find a magician.
- (3) The last cage is at
the exit sign at the right side of the level.
